This week Pete Kopf explains how the new licensing requirements for Home Inspectors helps to protect everyone involved in a real estate transaction. Having a licensed inspector affords home buyers the assurance that the inspector is qualified to assess a house's condition prior to finalizing their purchase. It further protects the seller and Realtor who rely on the inspector to accurately report on the condition of a home. Finally, it protects to inspector by ensuring they are following best practices and standards when making their assessments.
This new policy goes into effect April 4, 2019. Do not hesitate to contact any of the agents at Kopf Hunter Haas to learn more.
